Adrian Rodriguez is a 2022 SS/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Salinas, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 6.75 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with wiry strength throughout as well. Primary shortstop who stays low to the ground with an online arm action. Arm strength recorded up to 87 mph across with very good carry. Skills are good just needs to reign in aggressiveness a bit. Secondary righthanded pitcher who threw exclusively fastballs and filled the zone. Loose arm with a leg lift at the belt and can move the fastball to both sides. High three-quarters arm slot with arm side run on the fastball and really gets into the back hip. Righthanded hitter with quick hands and a compact swing. Direct path to contact with a line drive approach and meets the ball out in front well. Generates carry to the pull side and middle of the field with a consistent, controlled stroke. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
