Salvdiel Rodriguez is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 5-9 210 lb. frame from Barranquitas, PR who attends Manuel Cruz Maceira Baseball. Medium frame with a stocky type build. Ran a 8.99 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Lifts to the belt and then works down the mound. Compact arm circle in the back before releasing from a higher three-quarter slot. Proved to have feel for his two pitch arsenal as he mixed it up and had hitters guessing. Fastball up to 79 mph with slight cut to it while he proved he could work all four quadrants. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that he landed for strikes as well. Confident in his stuff as he went right after hitters. Secondary First Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure to keep it in front of him. Deep gather and then works into transfers. Footwork showing as he turned the proper way turning two and was accurate to the bag with throws. Left-Handed Hitter, starting from a very upright and narrow stance with very high hands. Drifts into front side and then flashed some bat speed. Impacts out front and looks to do damage with an all or nothing approach. Very loud contact when he finds the bat head and projects power. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
