Christopher Rodriguez is a 2021 SS/C with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Dorado, PR who attends Florida Virtual School. Recorded a 6.81 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with a strong build and present physicality. Primary shortstop with clean footwork and good timing overall. Firm release on throws with a quick arm stroke and a very good arm with throws recorded up to 89 mph across the diamond. Secondary position of outfield works well because of his arm strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a balanced and controlled delivery. Longer arm stroke with an extended finish toward the plate. Lots of life on the fastball and has a deceptive slider with good horizontal slider. Right-handed hitter with a balanced and slightly open stance. Inside hand path and gets length through the zone. Gap to gap approach with a controlled swing and plenty of impact and power potential. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Cisco JC. Named to the 2021 SS East TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
