Bennett Price is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Pacific Palisades, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Medium slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he develops. Primary catcher, sets up with in a conventional crouch and gets out of it quickly. Has a short arm action and a quick transfer on his throws down to second base. Replaces feet well and throws down live around the second base bag. At the plate, uses an upright and slightly open stance with a mid-leg kick trigger. Slight hand coil into his load with good hands that work to stay inside of the ball. Clean hand path to contact with hands that finish high after extension. Middle of the field approach.
