Dalton Hodges is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Sterling. Large frame with some strength to the build. Recorded a 7.76 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, small side step to belt high leg lift, slight hip turn, stays online with good extension to the plate, short arm action through a three-quarters slot, easier release, fastball flashed some run to the glove side, showed feel for a pair of secondaries in a curveball out of 10 to 4 shape and commanded a changeup in the low-70s. Secondary first baseman, showed a solid funnel out front with clean transfers and accurate throws across. Right-handed hitter, starts tall and even, shifts well into contact with a middle to pull side approach, natural loft to the path with solid impact to the pull side. Very good student.
