David Nairn is a 2022 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Home School. Recorded a 7.41 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with slender build and plenty of room to add strength as he matures. Primary right-handed pitcher; full windup delivery with simple, repeatable mechanics and good direction down the slope. Incorporates big, high leg lift to gather himself over the rubber and long stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-80s for most of his outing, topping out at 83 mph from and over-the-top arm slot. Shows developing command with three-pitch mix with the tendency to lose his release point at times. Mixed in varying shaped breaking ball that is still in the developmental stages and a changeup as his secondary offerings. Plenty of physical projection remaining, which will only enhance his velocity as he adds strength. Will continue to improve with mechanical refinement and additional physical maturity. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
