Cameron Archer is a 2020 RHP/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends San Ramon Valley. Long lengthy build with room to fill out. Primary pitcher, shorter arm action from an over the top slot. Overall loose and athletic feel on the hill. Uses a side step rock in his motion with a high leg lift, plenty of untapped potential in his lower half as he drives down the mound. Works straight down the mound and finds some sinking action on his 77-81 mph as he pronates at the window. Breaking ball has an 11-to-5 shape and posses a large rolling break to the plate. Still developing consistency with the pitch as it only flashes plus ability. Split change sits around 70 mph and is inconsistent with it as well. Flashed a quality split change at one point that possessed plus tumbling action down in the zone. At the plate, uses three toe taps as a timing mechanism. Stays short to and through, not much extension as the barrel pulls out of the zone. Middle to pull approach.
