Luke Treece is a 2025 C/MIF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Oliver Springs, TN who attends Coalfield. Recorded a 7.74 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, broad frame with a high waist and strong lower half. Has plenty of room and time to physically mature. Primary catcher that receives from a wider, side-saddle stance with softness to his hands and some hip mobility. Gains ground quickly out of the crouch, stays in-line towards his target and incorporates a quick, direct mid-line transfer. Works into a quick release and delivered online, accurate throws up to 75 mph from behind the dish during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Incorporates good weight shift into contact and generates some hip torque to get the barrel moving. Whole field approach with consistent bat-to-ball skills and some feel for the barrel. Projects for more power as he continues to physically mature and adds strength. Solid overall skill set with upside on both sides of the baseball, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
