Hunter Bond is a 2022 LHP with a 6-4 167 lb. frame from College Station, TX who attends A & M Consolidated. Long limbed very projectable young build. Has simple turn and throw mechanics on the mound, lands closed with his stride leg out front but works around his hips well, extended 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose and fluid with good young arm speed, creates nice angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, has nice running life arm side and very consistent sharp cutting action to the glove side. Sweeping curveball with some depth, also worked in a developing change up. Understands his abilities well and has an idea on the mound. Very good chance to keep improving as he physically matures. Good student.
