Evan Vandenbosch is a 2022 LHP with a 6-2 167 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Fort Mill. Nice young pitcher's build with good length and plenty of physical projection. Works exclusively from the stretch, long on line arm action that hides the ball well behind his body, high 3/4's arm slot, can extend better out front on his release to clear his front side. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 81 mph early, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Shows good spin and bite on his curveball but still developing feel for the release point. Has projection and potential on the mound if he can become more consistent in his mechanics and improve his front side.
