Collin Priest is a 2023 1B/OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Eustis, FL who attends Mount Dora Christian Academy. Big and strong build, pretty mature physically. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight and balanced stance, has a simple and direct swing path and repeatable timer, gets into his lower half well with nice hip rotation, refined hitting mechanics, sees the ball well and takes pitches, has present bat speed with hard pull side contact and plenty of power potential, advanced hitter who should perform immediately at the next level. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has very good arm strength for the position and can throw from different slots. Bat is his tool and it's a good one. Good student, verbal commitment to Michigan.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
