Daniel Gomez is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Lake Nona. Long, lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 6.56 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with quick twitch athleticism and sound footwork throughout the fielding process. Used long stride with plenty of foot speed to field cleanly off his front foot. Displayed efficient transition and maintained momentum into release. Recorded accurate, online throws up to 88 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with a lower, tight hand set and leg lift trigger. Simple, controlled swing with good balance and some intent. Tendency to get slightly elongated with his swing path, exhibits whole field approach with occasional impact. Will continue to improve with minor swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student. Named to the 2022 Uncommitted Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
