Blake Hinson is a 2021 OF/1B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from New Bern, NC who attends New Bern. Young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, starts from a high hand set with a long stride out front, gets to his front side early, flashes good hand quickness and some bat speed, tends to get off balance to his front side and lose leverage. Very good runner, 6.73 in the sixty, has athletic bounce to his actions and moves well in the outfield, aggressive charging the ball, arm works well and makes on line accurate throws with developing arm strength. Very good student.
