Chris Lamond is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Nutley, NJ who attends De Paul Catholic. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. High leg lift start on the mound, loads over his back side well, will break his hands late at times and have to rush his arm circle, high 3/4's arm slot. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, fastball has some arm side running action and he keeps it down in the zone well. Flashed good spin on a mid-60's curveball with 11/5 shape, can get more consistent in his release on this pitch. 7.20 runner in the sixty, plays first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low still hand load, gets to his front side early and tends to pull off early with his front side.
