Aiden Roller is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Jonesborough, TN who attends Daniel Boone. He ran a 7.54 second sixty. A primary left-handed pitcher with an average build. On the mound he showed pitchability by mixing his fastball with two distinct breaking balls as well as a show me changeup to keep hitters off balance. He starts with a side step into a belt high leg lift with an average arm action. The fastball sat 73-75 mph but pairs well with the curveball that showed big depth in the in the mid 60's while the slider stays mostly horizontal giving him three pitches that are capable of creating swings and misses. In the outfield he waits back on the ball fielding it out front and shuffling into the throws as he get to an over the top slot making accurate throws to the bases. Left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow open stance loading his weight into the back leg with a longer stride, he showed the ability to control the barrel with some quickness to his hands and intent at the point of contact. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
