Peyton Underwood is a 2023 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 184 lb. frame from Reynoldsburg, OH who attends Bishop Hartley. Large frame with projectable, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, small stride, barrel tip in load, length to stroke, inside-out swing approach with hands locked to body, creates opposite field approach, has power projection. Primary catcher, side-saddle set, works out of crouch well, shows balance and direction, throws downhill with good arm strength, clocked up to 78 mph. Also pitched, simple and controlled delivery, medium arm stroke, works downhill, fastball worked 76-79 mph with plane, showed good feel for vertical breaker as well. Very good student.
