Benicio Diaz is a 2022 C/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Maple, ON who attends St Joan of Arc. Large frame with good present physicality. Ran a 7.76 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, very clean and fluid actions with good athleticism, works short to the hand and gets rid of it quickly and on time, builds momentum through receiving and made clean throws to the bag. Righthanded hitter, sets up loaded and engages well, easy approach working to backspin to the gaps, can get on his front side at times but uses strength and bat speed to create strong impact.
