Frank-Anthony Caietta is a 2023 RHP/IF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Bradford, ON who attends Holy Trinity Catholic. Tall and physical build especially for a freshman, impressive strength potential. Works from the stretch with a belt high leg lift, tends to fall off hard to the first base side on release, can improve his lower and front side direction for more consistency. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight with occasional cutting action, works well to the glove side. Showed good feel for a 11/5 curveball that had some depth. Made adjustments throughout his outing and threw strikes while competing well. 7.48 runner, first base tools on defense. Right handed hitter, rotational upper body swing, flashes some strength when he gets the barrel extended out front. Definite chance to develop on the mound.
