Gavin Gallegos is a 2026 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from La Habra, CA who attends La Mirada. Medium height with a longer limbs and a slender waist. Ran a 8.68 in the sixty yard dash. A primary first baseman, stays low and works under the ball. Should develop around the bag and threw accurately to the bases. Also worked out on the infield, long strides and covers some ground laterally. The timing with the glove and consistent release will play in games. A secondary pitcher, pronates the fastball getting sinking action that should produce soft contact. The breaking ball has horizontal movement and will tighten up as he accelerates the hand. Worked down in the zone. A right-handed hitter, starts spread and in line with the base using a multi toe tap trigger for timing. Stays behind the ball working the middle with some feel to square the ball up. Excellent student.
