Andrew Cheripka is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-1 222 lb. frame from Woodbridge, VA who attends Forest Park High School. Recorded 7.40 seconds in the sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher has a short side-step as he drops the hands to the belt with a chest high leg lift and works the fastball on both sides of the plate with good command and great sinking action on the fastball topping 82 mph. Cheripka also mixes in a tight, lateral slider with short break. Also taking ground balls at first base showing clean glove actions and a quick turn while accurately throwing the ball across the diamond at 79 mph. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an open stance, high hands, and a high back elbow as he swings with a deep toe tap trigger, and shows a long barrel as he impacts the ball with good force working pull-side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
