Oreste Beltran is a 2023 SS with a 5-6 148 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Randall. Shorter compact build with square shoulders and room to get stronger. 7.15 runner, has quick and active feet on defense, works behind the ball with good balance, rounds it well with good side to side movements, still developing his throwing footwork and overall arm strength. Right handed hitter, limited lower half shift, upper body rotational swing, wrapped barrel to start his swing and still developing the strength to create barrel whip, line drive swing plane with contact to all fields.
