Jamison "JJ" Burwell is a 2025 C/RHP, 2B with a 5-2 95 lb. frame from Collinsville, OK who attends Collinsville. A developing athlete, JJ shows sound fundamental ability and a great effort level. He ran a 9.53 60-yard dash. A primary catcher, he uses a sound set up and softer hands to receive. He comes out of his stance well and gains ground quickly. His throws are consistently on target and show a consistent 2.68 pop time. On the mound, JJ shows the ability to routinely throw strikes and pitches off a 59-61 mph fastball that is well-commanded. He also mixed in a 51-mph curve that shows some depth at the plate. Lastly, on the infield, JJ makes all the routine plays. He fields the ball out front and gets his throws off with a solid arm action. His 61-mph velo across the diamond allow for his throws to stay on target. At the dish, JJ is a contact first hitter who uses a flatter path to work the middle of the diamond and also to the opposite field. He shows consistent bat-to-ball ability.
