Christian Estep is a 2022 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Home School. Large frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Primary first baseman, showed a strong arm, got to the ball but the glove had a tendency to get down late. Worked out in the infield, developing infield actions, shows some range, comfortable throwing from multiple arm slots, clocked up to 82 mph on throws across. From the mound, throws from an over the top delivery, commands his pitches well, and throws strikes. Worked a three pitch mix, the fastball topped out at 85 MPH. Flashed a changeup with good sink at 75 mph. Worked in a curveball at 70 mph that had tight spin and late break. At the plate, hits with a large leg kick, slightly loads back and had good bat speed. Hits the ball hard every time.
