Erick Soto Santiago is a 2022 UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Mayaguez, PR who attends Colegio Eugenio Maria de Hostos. Long and lean frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.26 second 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield, comes at the ball well fielding it cleanly off to the side of his front foot and carrying his momentum through his funnel with a quick arm and accuracy on low throws to the bag. Right-handed hitter, sets up slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow; shows quickness to his hands as he generates good bat speed and shows a present feel for the barrel on a slightly uphill swing plane producing lifted contact to the pull side.
