Caden Cunningham is a 2022 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Vandegrift. Posted a 6.92 in the 60 yard dash. Primary LHP, the southpaw topped the fastball out at 81. Simple operation with good pieces to build on produces good late run crossing the plate showing feel to also land a curveball flashing some bite with a clean release. Has good athleticism in his delivery, extended low 3/4 arm slot added life for strikes and played effectively. In the outfield he has fluid catch and release mechanics. Glove is soft through the transfer with a quick release flashing some upside on the arm strength. Right-haded hitter, simple swing geared toward contact. Level path has some quickness to it and feel for the zone spraying gap to gap pop. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
