2022 WWBA West Workout Showcase (July 15)
Nico Linville is a 2025 SS/IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Northwest Christian. Medium build with physical strength gains in store as the body continues to mature and develop. Ran a 7.37 in the 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, shows promising range to either side with early glove action. Fields it consistently and fires from a lower arm slot. Accuracy continues to develop with promising actions on the dirt. Left-handed hitter, narrow base with a high back elbow and hanging leg kick in load. Creates rhythm in the box with a present pull-side approach on a lofted path. Shows feel for the barrel and gets the hands out front. Has some upside in the offensive profile as the frame continues to add. Very good student. Named to the WWBA West Workout Top Prospect List.
