Caleb Sanders is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Eastpointe, MI who attends Detroit Edison Public School Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, aggressive actions towards the ball and attacks it well, loose and athletic, comes through the ball well and shows plus arm strength and speed, ball jumps out with present carry towards the intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a deeper hand set at the plate; timing triggers with front foot at start of load. Swings with intent and shows present bat speed through the zone, occasionally gets uphill with path. Ball jumps off of the barrel when squared, will continue to refine overall timing of swing, offensive tools project well moving forward. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Dayton.
