Eric Sotelo is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from Adelanto, CA who attends Serrano. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.87 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good glove actions and funnels the ball well, moves well laterally, good idea with his footwork, makes accurate throws, will be an asset defensively at the position. Also worked out in the outfield. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a low hand start, shift hard early to his front side, gets good extension in his swing through contact with mostly pull side line drive contact. Also pitched, has a tall and fall delivery with a mid to low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 73 mph with some arm side running life. Change up had some quality with late fading life and good arm speed, also threw a soft and short slider.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
