Johnny Alley is a 2024 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from Menifee, CA who attends Heritage. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.08 seconds. Hits from even, narrow-based stance with relaxed set, low back elbow, cocks it back into load, compact swing with hands inside, once the barrel started turning the results improved, smooth stroke when intent is added, liners to all fields with good projection. Worked out in the outfield, short choppy steps to break down, fields cleanly working through the ball with momentum and balance, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Very good student.
