Cameron Turner is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Richlands, NC who attends P27 Academy. Large frame with present strength and durability with solid athletic actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Primary position 1B, showing good footwork and comfort around the bag. Firmer glove work but securing the ball well with deeper midline transfer that works well to get him in position to throw. Strong arm, really cutting it loose across the diamond up to 85 mph with accuracy. Reps on the IF as well, would assume 3B is good spot. Same solid actions, showing some lateral mobility and emerging footwork on slow roller play. RHH starting with an even stance and small leg lift to create timing. Strong hands, accelerating the bat head with intent. Direct path with natural loft and the power to justify to all fields. Repeats operation with consistency and has pretty mature overall approach. Outstanding student as well.
