Colter McAnelly is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Cheyenne, WY who attends Cheyenne East. Tall and lean high waisted build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.12 runner in the sixty at the Junior National Showcase. Has a compact arm action defensively in the infield, gets good carry on his throws from that slot, good charging the ball and stays balanced well. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a loose and extended swing, best when he's working gap to gap, works from the ground up well and projects power, gets good carry when he's timed up. Also pitched, has an up tempo delivery with a high leg life, full clean arm action from a high 3/4's release slot that creates angle. Fastball topped out at 87 mph with good carry, curveball had big 12/6 shape that changed eye levels. Also threw a mid-70's split finger that worked well. Has a chance on the mound as well as as a player. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Missouri.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
