Douglas Zuniga is a 2025 SS/IF with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Pasadena, CA who attends Maranatha. Recorded a 8.02 second sixty yard dash time. Smaller frame with a compact and stocky build. Primary shortstop with good feel for the glove and very quick hands. Smooth and twitchy actions with solid carry across on his throws. Good round with projectable actions. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and open stance, keeps his hands tight through the zone. Vertical barrel load, struggled to get on time during BP. Flashed some bat speed and hit the ball hardest when going to the pull side on the ground. Has some feel for the barrel when on time, looked much better in live at bats. Solid base with a good chance to improve as he grows and gets stronger. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
