Christopher Rodriguez is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Valley View. Features a slender build with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot. Short arm action hides the ball well into release. Fastball sat 78-80 mph, topping out at 83 mph. Can create some armside run at times. Curveball at 64-68 mph showed slurvy action. Still developing consistent feel for the offering. Will throw the pitch early in counts at times. Strike throwing ability allows for quick outs. Also worked out in the outfield. Charges the ball hard while staying low during the approach. Was accurate with most throws. Reached 83 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a narrow stance. Swings on a downhill path with a short finish out front. Approach looks to shoot balls the other way. Still developing feel for the barrel. Ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
