Roman Colella is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Okatie, SC who attends John Paul II Catholic. Good frame to project on with some twitch and emerging overall strength, should really see nice gains in the next couple years. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.12 seconds. Primary position C, showing velocity up to 67 mph and consistent 2.20 pop times. Solid initial setup and on point footwork as he replaces feet well and is inline through his transfer. Arm path is a touch long but it works well and will be able to shorten motion as he matures and will see pop times improve even more. Displayed accuracy on throws and repeated his overall mechanics quite well. RHH working from an even, balanced stance and small leg lift to get things started. Hand set is back and slightly away from his body and gets into the swing slot in good position. Displayed quick hands with some whip and when on plane the ball jumped off the barrel. Also, took reps on the IF and showed solid actions with a simple repeatable approach to the ball. Hands work like you would want them to and the arm played even better on the clay showing throws up to 80 mph. Multi talented athlete that can take his game several ways based on his overall skillset.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
