2023 Virginia Indoor Showcase (Feb. 26)
Mark Williams Jr. is a 2026 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Indian Head, MD who attends Bishop Mcnamara. Strong athletic build, looks bigger than listed. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a small leg raise load, loads his hands high with a barrel tilt start, swings hard with a long and lifting swing, power approach with good extension, can get into his lower half more to help generate additional bat speed, has hitting tools to develop. Primary third baseman on defense, has some life to his actions, works behind the ball well and gets square into his throws, short and quick arm action with some carry on his throws. Good student. Named to the Virginia Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
