Andrew Maultsby is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Staley HS. Recorded a 7.02 second 60-yard dash time. Long, lanky frame with lots of room to add strength. Primary catcher with a low slot and gains ground well. Keeps throws low to the ground and repeats really well. Very good arm strength up to 79 mph with a best pop time of 1.92 seconds. Throws wereon the correct side of the bag with frequency and consistency. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a shorter arm action and a tight slot. Arm speed is present and showed a changeup with good depth. Flashed a breaking ball with good spin too. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Lifts through the finish and can hit the ball hard on a line. Shows strength to the middle of the field.
