Tanner McKenzie is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from San Tan Valley, AZ who attends Poston Butte. Ran a 7.29 60 yard dash. Solid run tool and overall has good athleticism. Lean build on the mound with projection. Over the top arm slot, some downhill plane, can crack it up. Fastball topped at 80, will challenge hitters, not afraid to come inside. Good athlete on the mound. Athletic fielding actions and has soft hands. Good range and moves well to both sides. Strong arm and has good accuracy on throws. At the plate, switch hitter with a similar swing from both sides. Compact swing that stays on plane well. Big load and uses his lower half well to try and generate strength in the swing.
