Jonny Haskett is a 2026 C/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-6 170 lb. frame from San Diego, CA. Young, square shouldered frame with room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran a 10.05 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set behind the plate during drills, receives the ball out front, deliberate tempo to actions and can quicken, works over front side and gains short ground, taller release, around the intended base with throws. Full arm action on throws from first base, higher slot, worked on top of throws, young footwork away from the bag. Also pitched, medium leg raise at start of delivery, long stride down the mound and works on top well from an over-the-top release point; works with tempo and was around the zone, back turn at top of delivery. Fastball topped out at 67 mph, mostly true in life and pitched exclusively off of it this look, pitched to contact. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and high hand set and back elbow at the plate; tends to get to front side early with weight shift. Linear to downward swing path through the zone, ground ball contact around the field, creates some barreled contact when on time with hands.
