He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long and loose arm action. Battipaglia throws slightly across his body with effort in his delivery. He has good arm speed and a downward plane to the plate. Jerry has a heavy fastball at 87 mph that he will throw inside. He has a solid 11-5 curveball at 69 mph and his changeup has sink at 67 mph. He has solid command of the zone.
