Bodie Mamiya is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Kennewick, WA who attends Kennewick. Medium frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Hits from semi-crouched stance with high hands and back elbow, barrel tilt in load, short leg lift trigger, repeats swing well, gets barrel out front and knows the zone, solid hitting tools. Worked out in the outfield, showed good closing speed and angles, fields cleanly, clocked up to 82 mph on throws. Showed well on the mound, quick arm with compact action, fastball worked 81-83 mph with solid arm side life and good command, showed curveball with 1/7 shape and good depth, attacked hitters and had success. Very good student.
