2022 PG Underclass All-American Games
Lane Simonsen is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Lynden, WA who attends Lynden. Tall athletic build with some strength in his hips. Works out of a semi-stretch start with a 3/4's arm slot, works very quickly. Fastball worked in the mid-80's and is mostly straight. Change up was his best pitch this outing, bottom drops out of some of them, slider might have been change ups that he cut somewhat. Tends to slow his arm and shorten his stride on a very slow curveball. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a rotational upper body swing from a low hand start, looks to pull the ball, line drive swing plane. Good student, verbal commitment to Washington.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
