Ran a 7.66 60-yard dash. A primary third baseman who moved well with good footwork during the defensive workouts. He threw from a lower slot and had good whip to the arm on his throws. He had a good glove and looked the part for a corner infielder. he threw 87 mph across the diamond in a solid round of reps. The left-handed hitter swung the bat really well during games as well. He starts with slightly open feet and a wider base. The hands are high with a high back elbow. Uses a leg lift to get on time. Gets the hands back and closes off the front side. Controls the barrel well and was able to do so during games. Picked up two base hits during the games and managed an 86 mph exit velocity. He took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who moved well down the mound with an athletic delivery. He has a square stance to the mound and uses a large rocker step into a higher leg lift above the belt. Has an athletic arm action that is whippy and moves with good pace. Pitches from a three-quarters arm slot, and works downhill in-line. His fastball was 80-82 T85 mph and had some arm-side run, spinning up to 2,186 RPMs. Quick out of the hand too, a bit jumpy, getting on hitters. He also showcased a sharp curveball in the mid-70s spinning it up to 2,247 RPMs. The changeup was his best-offspeed offering. He killed spin down to 1,485 RPMs. Mintz punched out 5 hitters over 3.0 innings of work. Exceptional student.
