Luke Barre is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Stratford. Taller, lean and athletic frame. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a projectable frame, loose fluid arm action and a three pitch-mix. Low spin fastball in the low 80's with some sinking action, a curveball that showed consistent shape and a straight change up. Effective pitch ability with the stuff on the mound. Footwork to the baseball in the outfield, catches it out front and throws downhill with above average arm strength. Hit from a wide base at the plate with long levers and strength in the swing. Some well connected swings with extension through the baseball and feel for the barrel. Couple loud barrels in games including a triple to the centerfield fence. Two-way ability to work with. Named to Top Prospect List. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
