Gabriel Westry is a 2025 1B/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Decatur. Recorded a 7.26 second 60-yard dash time. Big frame first baseman with solid footwork around the bag and a deep two-hand gather to exchange while fielding. Short arm higher arm slot on throws across at 74 mph. Squares up ground balls and made accurate throws. Right-handed hitter with an even base and balanced stance in the box. High back elbow slot with some moving parts before launch. Swing can get steep at times into zone with hard impact to the opposite field. Strength in the swing and when contact point is out front does some damage. Good runner out of the box with ability to take the extra base. Outstanding student with a 4.22 GPA. Named to the 2022 National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
