Brandon Gillispie is a 2024 MIF/RHP, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Hendersonville, TN who attends Station Camp. Gillispie ran a 7.19 sixty yard dash. Brandon has a medium athletic build with broad shoulders and some more room from additional strength. Primary middle infield he caught the ball clean as he gets the glove down early and out in front with some range side to side. He showed good arm strength across the diamond as well. On the mound he works with a belt high leg lift landing slightly closed with the front foot. The hands stay low in the operation. He gains some momentum down the slope creating some extension to the plate. He works from a straight over the top arm action with a longer looser arm stroke. The fastball sat in the mid to upper 70s as he showed good command of it to both sides of the plate. Left handed hitter starts with an even base with a slight toe tap trigger. He showed a clean weight transfer to the front side which helped his hands create some rhythm through the zone. Brandon showed good barrel to ball skills as he droves the balls to all fields. Gillispie is an excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
