Jarvis Jackson is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-8 179 lb. frame from Irmo, SC who attends Dutch Fork. Prototypical catchers build with good strength in a compact build. Right handed hitter, starts open in his stance and gets his lower half coiled in his load, uncoils into his swing, front side can be early and leave his hands behind, lots of rotational, gap to gap approach with some lift in his plane, has some strength at contact and future power potential. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Has good lower half flexibility and gets low in his stance, gains ground well in his footwork throwing, makes accurate throws and stays on top of the ball well, still developing quickness and anticipation in his exchange and release but that will come with repetitions.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
