Brody Casteel is a 2024 RHP/C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Cleveland, TN who attends Bradley. Ran a 7.95 second, sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher with average size and athletic build. Clean mechanics through delivery with a backside load before releasing out front from a three-quarter slot. Arm takes a short and clean path to release with extension. Fastball at 81-mph with ride and arm-side run with ability to change slot and manipulate spin adding sink. Curveball and changeup off speed package played up due to ability to tunnel release. Curveball at 68-mph with sharp, tight break and 12/6 shape. Changeup featured good separation off the fastball and deception at 68-mph. Sound athleticism with ability to work down the mound straight towards the plate, with feel for the glove fielding result out front and pairing with clean, accurate throws to bases.
