Isaac Morton is a 2023 RHP/C, OF with a 6-1 164 lb. frame from Blaine, MN who attends Spring Lake Park. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.98 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works from the stretch, easy delivery, near vertical slot out of hooked arm stroke, low release height, clean inline stride, fastball worked 83-87 mph with good ride, showed changeup with good fading action, flashes curveball with shorter depth, high upside. Hits from narrow, open stance with high hands and back elbow, big stride in, gets working uphill, intent to get the ball in the air, has power projection. Worked out behind the plate, clearly athletic out of crouch, arm strength is main tool, locked up to 81 mph on throws down to 2nd. Very good student, named to 2021 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
