Zach Hutchinson is a 2024 2B/3B/SS with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Ruskin, FL who attends Sumner High School. A lean frame with room to keep adding strength into the frame. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with shorter footwork that moved well laterally. Athletic mover overall. Has a clean arm stroke with a soft glove on the backhand. Made throws on the run, adjusting as needed. Threw from a higher slot and let the ball come out to make throws across the infield. A right-handed hitter with high set hands and a high back elbow. Uses a small leg-lift trigger in the load to get on time. He was able to work the middle of the field during his round of BP with a contact-oriented approach. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
