Connor Kepner is a 2024 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Lee’S Summit, MO who attends Lees Summit. Recorded a 7.77 sixty yard dash time. Compact frame with a sturdy build. Primary catcher with a square set up with a quick transfer and short arm action. Solid arm and accuracy. Secondary third baseman with good hands and rhythm with glove and a strong arm. Showed the ability to make plays with a nice diving stop in game. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and open stance, uses a leg lift for timing. Compact swing with uphill bat path. Gets the lower half engaged well with gap-to-gap pop. Also threw an inning on the mound. Short and compact arm action with a tight release. Attacks hitters well with the fastball. Also showed good feel for the knuckle and a curveball. with 11-5 shape and sharp two-plane action. Throws all three pitches with confidence and conviction. Gamer who enjoys playing and is fundamentally sound. Collected two hits including a double in the game. Named to the 2023 Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
